A typical cottage industry which started at home in the lounge making clothes for six children, the desire to add personal touches to the garments lead to the purchase of a home embroidery sewing machine.

Polo shirts and sweatshirts were embroidered for the small family business and word soon spread, until the lounge started to look like a work shop! The catalyst for moving to a small industrial unit and the launch of Logotec embroidery came when an official order for 200 polo shirts was received. A multi head embroidery machine and computer software were purchased and further training was undertaken to enable work on a much larger scale to be taken on.

The business expanded at a steady rate and within one year a second machine was installed. Five years later Logotec moved to a larger unit and a further machine was purchased.

In 2009, the decision to outsource the embroidery service had to be made due to an unforeseen health issue

Logotec, established in 1999 is proud to have a client base which has grown mainly from customer recommendation.
